INSTANT SISIG!

I just love a good sisig and I'm SURE I'm not the only one.  The only downside about sisig is it's packed with everything evil - pork cheeks, pork tongue, pork heart, pork liver, pork ears - PORK.  It's definitely not something you should eat everyday.  Thankfully a healthier version exists, so that's what I tried out for lunch today. Life gets even better when you've got Mama Sita and her instant food mixes available. :)  There were actually instructions on the back of the packet, but I put my own spin on it. Try it out:

Ingredients:
1 pack Mama Sita's Capangpangan Sisig Citrus Pepper Spice Mix
Saranggani Bay Boneless Milkfish Fillet 500g
2 red onions (chopped)
1 egg
1/2 cup water
Hot Sauce
(optional) Beer

Directions:
1. Mix 1 pack of sisig mix and 1/4 cup of water. Set aside.
2. Chop up the the red onions. Set aside.
3. Slice the milkfish into chunks and pan fry for about 5 minutes or until pretty much cooked (haha does that make sense?).
3. Add the chopped onions.  Cook for 2 minutes.
4. Add the egg and the mix well. Cook for 2 minutes.
5. Remove from heat. Add some hot sauce. Serve with beer!
